Champion of the Year is friendly fundraising competition that honors and celebrates local individuals, professionals, and community leaders throughout Ohio. A Champion candidate is someone who truly believes in Best Buddies and “champions” the mission of friendship, inclusion, leadership development, and integrated employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Champion candidates compete to raise the most funds for Best Buddies and earn the ultimate title of Champion of the Year.

Following the eight week campaign, Best Buddies will recognize the candidate who has raised the largest amount in donations at our annual OH! What a Night! Gala. Join us for a night of fine dining, live music, silent auction, and dancing as we celebrate our progress!
